**Position Summary**

The Auto & Property Insurance Specialist ll is primarily responsible for processing auto insurance policies and a variety of personal lines policies and intricate insurance contracts related to residential homes and personal belongings.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Processes a variety of personal lines policies and intricate contracts related to residential homes and personal belongings
- Processes basic insurance transaction and auto policies.
- Identifies client needs and provides information on basic insurance products such as risk coverage, benefits and other policy features best suited to meet the client's needs; works with clients to manage and reduce their risk.
- Recommends and implements a client’s insurance coverage, premiums and collects payment; promotes Brio Insurance products and services.
- Support the achievement of department and organizational goals as well as actively participates in regular staff meetings.
- Maintain open communication and cooperation with other staff to ensure a friendly and efficient work environment.

**Essential Qualifications**
- Working towards completed Level 2 Brokers Insurance License
- Understands specifics about coverage limitations: to vacant dwellings, seasonal, rentals, Course of Construction and mobile homes etc.
- Understands MPI Commercial vehicle coverages
- Demonstrated desire to serve others in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure
- Ability to prioritize using sound judgment to make timely and effective decisions
- Knowledge of Brio/Interlake Insurance products and services
- Ability to follow standardized policies and procedures
- Knowledge of risk management within the insurance industry
- Proficient computer skills
