As the ChopValue Manufacturing Technician, you will work to standardize, troubleshoot, and train our processes. We are looking for a hands-on, energetic and proactive self-starter who is passionate about distributed manufacturing, to join our Vancouver team.

**Your Responsibilities will include**:
Technical lead with expert understanding of our processes
- Process operations
- Process documentation
- Proprietary equipment
- Training documentation and standards
- Process controls
Lead standardization of technical practices
- In-person training
- Maintaining and developing technical documents (i.e. machine specifications, production procedures, product specifications etc.)
- Identifies, standardizes and communicates best practiceManage core equipment supplier relationships
Build strong working relationships with our core equipment suppliers
- Lead the development/optimization of core equipment.
- Work with suppliers to ensure equipment is prepared and certified on time.
- Manage and maintain supplier records.
- Develop troubleshooting guides.
- Lead factory and site acceptance testing and trouble-shooting of core equipment.
Provide franchise partners with technical support:
- Lead facility planning (layout, guidance and machinery requirements)
- Lead equipment readiness, Factory Acceptance and Site Acceptance Testing.
- Lead technical check-ins and readiness reviews in the run up to in-person training sessions.
- On-site technical training and facility set-up.
- On-site and off-site troubleshooting and resolution of core equipment issues.
**Your skills and experience**:
- Proficient with the use and repair of mechanical equipment
- A bachelor's degree or trade certification
- 2-3 years of experience as a Manufacturing Technician or similar
- Customer facing experience is an asset
- Modeling using Autocad, Inventor or Solid works is an asset
- Lean manufacturing and six sigma experience is an asset
