Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (CHA) required to support the therapy plans of our Speech Language Pathologists.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct joint assessments and evaluations to with Speech Pathologist pertaining to speech, language, and communication disorders in a wide range of patients.
- Follow individualized treatment plans to address the specific needs of each patient.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills, including articulation, fluency, voice, and comprehension.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and progress monitoring.
- Use a variety of techniques and resources, such as games, exercises, and technology, to engage and motivate patients during therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and communication with other professionals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree from an accredited program, preference in Linguistics or Speech Sciences.
- Valid drivers license with a car or access to a car
- Experience working with speech patients is preferred.
- Knowledge of various speech disorders and treatment techniques.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to create a positive and supportive environment for patients during therapy sessions.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage caseloads and maintain accurate records.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
