The pay range for this position is: $19.00 to $20.00 depending on qualifications/experience. Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00 pm. The Inventory Accounting Assistant role will perform all accounting duties related to inventory and programs.

**Duties**

Perform all accounting duties related to Inventory and programs, including but not limited to
- Responsible for accurate recording in ERP of all inventory related transactions, including purchasing, production and sales.
- Co-ordinating inventory counts and reconciliations to sub ledger
- Maintain master data on inventory items
- Assist with maintaining inventory policies and procedures as well as improving/creating policies as needed.
- Invoicing order for various programs
- Provide accounting support to customer service and sales
- Other duties as required

**Technical Skills and Qualification**s
- Proficient with computers, knowledge of Windows micro programs - Excel, Word
- Organizing / Prioritizing
- Team Player (offer assistance, actively listen, respect others, be a problem solver, celebrate team successes)
- Positive attitude, motivated, compassionate
- Strong time management skills: Must work well under pressure & be able to meet deadlines
- Willingness to take initiative (Self-motivated, while also a team player - ability to work independently with mínimal supervision while also able to work well with others when required)

- Self-starter who works independently with mínimal directions

**Education and Experience**
- Completion of a Community College program related to business or finance or accounting (concession will be considered based upon an individual’s job experience).
- One year of related experience
