The “Grab & Go” is located in the hotel lobby and provides specialty beverages and food products for those on the run. In this role, you will report to the Outlets Manager.

**What will I be doing?**

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Ensuring a sound knowledge of all menu items available from the Grab & Go.
- Taking and inputting guest orders into the appropriate point of sale system.
- Preparing drink items as requested by the guest - mainly including, but not limited to coffee, tea, hot chocolate and specialty coffees.
- Warming food as requested by the guest - e.g. pre made breakfast and lunch sandwiches.
- Serving items to guests providing appropriate condiments and accompaniments.
- Ensuring payment is received for all items served to the guest.
- Answering any guest enquiry wishing to have items from the Grab & Go delivered to their room.
- Prepare and deliver such items to the guest room in the appropriate packaging.
- Ensure all items in the Grab & Go are well-stocked at all times, ensuring that all products are still within their expiration date.
- Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
- Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.
- Maintaining cleanliness in the Grab & Go area.

To successfully fill this role you should be able to demonstrate the attitude, behaviours, skills and values that follow:

- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Self-starter, reliable and have the ability to work independently.
- Good command of Written and Oral English

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

- Secondary School Education
- Certified Food Handler
- Previous Barista experience
