**Description**:
SkipTheDishes is known nationally for our market leading restaurant food delivery and we are branching out into new verticals including building our own grocery delivery solution, Skip Express Lane. This role is accountable for owning two critical growth pillars for this eCommerce business: Merchandising Promotion and Site Merchandising. Merchandising Promotion: Partner with Merchandising, Marketing, Menu, and Store Operations teams to plan merchandise driven promotional plans including seasonal play, key events (ex. Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, etc.) as well as branded partnership opportunities to drive market share, new customers, and conversion.

Site Merchandising: Deliver compelling digital shopping experience that drives menu views, menu conversion, new customer acquisition and repeat orders in partnership with merchandising and menu team.

**What's On Your Plate**:

- Be customer obsessed. Work closely with the merchandising and menu teams to understand the customer journey on the mobile app and website, using various mechanics (ex. A/B Test) to develop purchase decision trees and user journey maps.
- Leverage data from historical menu conversions, customer insights, supplier partners, and industry knowledge to continuously improve the mobile purchasing experience.
- Be inquisitive. Become the resident expert on our mobile site capabilities, and constantly evolve how we merchandise to show our assortment to our customers driving excitement and menu performance while balancing tech requirements.
- Lead quarterly and annual promotion planning, including working with merchandising, replenishment, and store operations to ensure successful execution.
- In partnership with Data Analytics and Marketing, optimize e-flyer and upcoming promotions based on previous performance driving order volume, menu views and menu conversion.
- Complete post-mortem analysis, continuously evaluate promotion effectiveness to ensure gross merchandise value (GMV), order volume (OV), compliance and margin targets.

**Recipe For Success**:

- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in relevant fields of eCommerce, Retail Website Merchandising, Promotion Planning, Merchandising, Marketing, or Customer Insights.
- Strong appetite to learn with a “roll up the sleeves” mentality in a start-up environment, building a brand-new line of business from the ground up.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Retail Management, Merchandising, Business, or related field preferred.
- Data-literate, able to derive insights and action plans from data.
- Curious, critical thinker who tackles challenges with a future-focus.
- Collaboration skills, building relationships across a variety of teams, influencing without formal authority.
