- **About This Opportunity**

The 7-Eleven Private Brands team is looking for a Product Development Leader to help lead the development of new products, platforms and packaging for their business unit. This individual will help cultivate consumer insights, market data and trends and in turn, utilize the insights to lead and launch the product innovation, including the go to market strategy and commercialization to market.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and help translate the Private Brand Teams vision and strategy into a pipeline of innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work with data analyst to create and provide estimates and portfolio financials to ensure target P&L is achieved
- Leverage market data, consumer insights and trends that identified ideas and platforms that resonate with 7-Eleven’s consumer base.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to collect, generate, and proof documents required for the successful launch of a new item.
- Own management of product launch from start to finish, including negotiation of costs, volumes, MOQ, timelines and formulations that are achievable for the business.
- Manage consolidation of documentation including collection of specifications, QA information, P&L.
- Lead the coordination with our supplier partners, to provide product samples and item sales sheet information to our regional Operational meetings.
- Generate post launch item recaps on inventory levels, sales performance and take rate opportunities.
- Help organize and execute product sampling / tasting panels with potential consumers as well as in-house product reviews.
- Assist supplier with New Item Form submission process and validate New Item forecast with wholesale partner. Lead the process of collecting and archiving all critical documentation including project critical path, item specifications, financials, and supporting supplier information and complete Private Brand Proprietary Agreement documentation.
- Assist in the analysis and presentation of existing and new item verification.
- Work with business partners to highlight and elevate online ad instore product presence
- Elevate and lead packaging designs following 7 Eleven guidelines and Canadian regulations
- Ensure 100 % execution at store level monitoring traction for 6 months from launch date
- Collaborate with category managers to follow guidelines and proper placement of new innovation within the planograms.

Qualifications:
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
Education: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree

Experience: 3 years, New product development or related experience is strongly preferred.

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using marketing metrics, consumer insights and data to drive business decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
