**Hours: This position will be working on a 10-hour continental day-shift rotation, from 7 am to 5 pm.**

**As a Summer Student, you will be working in one of two Departments**:
**Wound Core Department**:

- Receiving and inspecting incoming slit steels, assuring that they are correct for the intended order
- Issue materials to work orders accurately and correctly on both paperwork order, and through the visual software system
- Set up machine according to work order and operating procedures.
- Produce distributed gap cores
- Ensure product meets quality requirements as per work order, operating procedures and customers specifications
- Follow priority schedule

**Stacked Core Department**:

- Set up machine according to work order and operating procedures.
- Material stacking into a repeating specific pattern
- Ability to follow detailed prints & procedures to create the finished product
- Work in a team environment ensuring group success
- Issue materials to work orders accurately and correctly
