**About Us**:
As we are growing, we’re looking for help on our production side. Lucas, our co-founder, is currently shaping all of our doughs and products by hand by himself, and we need someone excited to work with him on the baking side of our start-up and become our main baguette crafter. No prior baking school training required - just the willingness to learn and get your hands dough-rty.

**Position**:Part-Time Baker

**Location**: East Vancouver

**Role and Responsibilities**:
As our Peak Baker, you’ll be working closely with our co-founder Lucas in making all our products (loaves, baguettes, croissants, etc.). Your mission, should you choose to accept it:
**1. Baking and Production**:

- Start to finish production cycle: Work your magic with mixing, shaping, freezing, vacuum sealing and keeping your station clean
- You will get full training and we don’t require past baking experience, only an open-mind, the passion to learn and the grit to work
- You’ll have to go through Food Safety Training if you don’t have it already. It is a few hours of online training.
- We might also ask you to assist in packaging the products, and prepping the orders based on order volume

**Important**: You’ll need to carry heavy bags (20kg+) of flour, 15/20kg proofing boxes, etc. It is not a walk in the park, but we’ll give you tips and training to keep you whole

**2. Quality Control**:
Be our chef tester, ensuring our goodies meet the Peak Bakery excellence standard. If it's not _mmmh _worthy, it's a no-go Our most important values are taste and quality, they always come first Part of your role will be to ensure that every single product that we send to a customer is high-quality and meets Peak’s requirements of deliciousness. Yes, that means a lot of croissant-eating and bread-buttering per month - double-checking is encouraged, better be safe than sorry.

**Qualifications**:

- A passion for bread
- Not a baker by trade? Passion is more important than a diploma so don’t hesitate to reach out
- You've practiced the sourdough magic? Big plus
- Attention to detail is your middle name - you spot that one raisin out of place
- Great time management skills
- Learning is your jam, especially when it comes to startup shenanigans
- You've got a high-five-ready attitude and can talk bread puns like a pro
