The role will include maintaining data, accuracy using accounting systems, financial reporting, budgeting, completing statutory/regulatory compliance reporting and liaise with auditors.

**Required Skills and Experience**
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience with full-cycle accounting
- CPA designation (Chartered Professional Accountant)
- Experience with Sage accounting (Sage 50 and Intacct)
- Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and collaborate with business leaders
- Time managements skills with a keen ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills and ability to contribute effectively within a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Operates with a high level of authenticity and transparency

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Report the financial performance to the Management team by presenting the financial statements at various intervals
- Prepare annual audit information and supporting documents - liaise with auditors
- Develop, improve and communicate company financial standards and policies
- The growth, leadership and development of a small accounting team
- Oversight of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, including detailed review of coding bank reconciliations
- Oversight of the operational accounting and monthly close process
- Preparation of management reporting for senior leadership and the presentation of these findings to corporate shareholders
- Development and consolidated financial reporting to district managers
- Ensuring strong processes, procedures and risk mitigation strategies
- Manage with the utmost discretion and in the strictest of confidence

**Salary**: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
