We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Facilities Maintenance Specialist to be accountable for the general maintenance of corporate real estate properties within assigned portfolio (may include Foster Drive, York Mills and/or Prize Center), and liaises with building Property Management and external contractors and vendors in order to maintain sites in a first-class standard of appearance and functionality while adhering to Health and Safety regulations.

YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME

Reporting to the Sr Manager Maintenance, you will be empowered to:
- Monitor the facilities on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to identify physical repairs, maintenance and coordinate regular asset disposal related to Furniture and Equipment to ensure site is maintained in a first-class standard of appearance at all times; escalate concerns to Sr Manager Maintenance and building Property Management as applicable.- Maintain a functional relationship with building property management representatives and act as the primary OLG site contact for routine maintenance and emergency repairs for respective property portfolio.- Perform furniture assembly, ergonomic installations, installation of wall art, minor moves including bins and furniture, minor repair work- Maintain all meeting rooms and meeting room furniture/add-ons to first class standard at all times- Support the effective management of inventory and replacement of all damaged Leaseholds and Furniture/Fixtures and Equipment as per established departmental processes.- Oversee vendor work performed for approved repairs or modifications to workstations and/or work areas and manage the vendor responsible for executing the repairs or modifications.- Escort or coordinate required escort of all non-OLG vendors, consultants, and contractors on premise for facility related activity- Ensure efficient maintenance and safety of office equipment, furniture and fixtures, and repair and troubleshoot problems with office furniture/equipment to ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards- Maintain a well-organized storage room and up-to-date inventory listings to ensure inventory count is consistently current- Execute and support equipment moves/adds and changes and set up/supervise contractors and vendors to ensure work is safely completed in compliance with contractual obligations- Receive and action Service Requests for incoming staff at all corporate sites and collaborate with Real Estate Management for execution of planned seating, phones and chairs for employees to ensure that required equipment is installed promptly- Support Building Project Planner with telephone service requests and liaise with IT to ensure prompt completion- Move and set up A/V, video conferencing equipment, furniture, and other aids required for meetings in conference rooms, according to room user needs to ensure rooms are ready for use

WHAT YOU NEED TO PLAY
- Work Experience:_ 2 years of experience in commercial office and warehouse facility maintenance and construction. Exposure to building systems (UPS, BAS, HVAC, fire alarms etc).
- Education: _College Diploma in any related discipline. Ability to read blueprints/floor plans. Thorough knowledge of power tools and able to lift large equipment with the use of PPE. Knowledge of systems furniture. The Building Environmental Systems (BES) program certification is highly preferred but not required.
- Critical Skills:_ Interpersonal skills Problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service skills. Detail oriented. Ability to work independently with a bias to action, prioritize and manage all tasks and projects to successful completion. Basic knowledge of Microsoft suite, AutoCAD and Microsoft Outlook
- Additional Job Details:_ Access to a reliable vehicle required. Will be required to work on a frequent basis after hours and on weekends, and for GTA region, able to travel throughout the GTA on a frequent basis.
