**Overview**

The Saskatchewan Research Council’s (SRC) Mining and Minerals Division is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to provide support to the administration and ongoing monitoring of the Quality Assurance program for the Geoanalytical Laboratories.

**Accountabilities**
- Maintain the controlled document library, laboratory logbooks, certified equipment and supplies documents and other records
- Administer the employee training program, including reports, notifications and training records
- Conduct quality checks on laboratory equipment
- Assist with internal, customer and external audits of the laboratory and the Quality Management System, including follow up processes and actions

**Qualifications**
- A chemical technology diploma is preferred
- Two to five years of administrative or laboratory experience is preferred
- Familiarity with ISO 17025 requirements is an asset

**Skills**
- Excellent organizational skills
- Focused, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $44,623.11-$55,000.00 per year
