**Position**:
**A snapshot of what you will be involved with**:

- Recognize accomplishments, set annual performance goals for all team members, and provide ongoing coaching, challenging assignments, and opportunities for learning and development to help employees achieve personal, team, and corporate goals.
- Achieve program targets within a given budget.
- In working with the designated Service Delivery Manager, select the program’s operational priorities and plan for long-term program success.
- Working cooperatively with participants, partners, and other external parties to achieve program goals
- Providing technical leadership, expertise, and mentorship to the Customs New Construction team
- Maintaining familiarity and expertise with energy modeling best practices and National Energy Code for Buildings (NECB) requirements.
- Maintain an understanding of fundamental low-energy design principles, including building science, heating/cooling load assessment, HVAC technologies, and on-site renewable energy generation.
- Reviewing project submissions using approved industry-standard energy modeling software (eQuest, IES VE, HAP, EnergyPlus)
- Providing customers, partners, and internal clients with technical support and expertise in project optimization, technical reviews, presentations and workshops, and other areas as required.
- Supporting the Customer Experience and Partnership (CEP) team in developing outreach and marketing strategies and materials, aligning efforts with program goals.
- Completing site visits as required to confirm the as-built status of implemented energy efficiency measures
- Led the implementation of Evaluator and Verifier recommendations for the program.

**What Will Help You Succeed?**
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and eligible to practice as a Professional Engineer in Nova Scotia, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Minimum five years of related experience
- Other relevant professional certifications such as LEED® AP, BEMP, Certified Energy Manager (CEM), and Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP) are considered assets.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Detail-oriented, customer focus, time management, and excellent oral and written communication
- Technical knowledge and aptitude related to low-energy building design
- Working knowledge of energy modeling software and energy performance standards for new commercial buildings, including the NECB
- Understanding of demand-side management program development and delivery
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Excellent client service skills (internal partners and customers), including the ability to work collaboratively or independently
