Lead Painter

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Painter to join our team. As a Lead Painter, you will be responsible for overseeing painting projects, managing a team of painters, and ensuring high-quality workmanship. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and coordinate painting projects from start to finish
- Supervise a team of painters, providing guidance and support
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, scraping, and priming
- Repair and restore damaged surfaces prior to painting
- Caulk gaps and cracks to ensure a seamless finish
- Build scaffolding or use ladders as needed to access higher areas
- Work with drywall and drywall compound to perform minor and/or major repairs
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

**Skills**:

- Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Ability to operate an airless paint sprayer using different types of paints and primers
- Ability to work with drywall and drywall compound to perform wall repairs
- Extensive experience in residential and/or commercial painting
- Proficient in caulking gaps and cracks for a seamless finish
- Basic carpentry skills for minor repairs or installations
- Familiarity with reading schematics or blueprints is a plus
- Working at heights and lift equipement certification is a plus
