JOB SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of the Marketing and Sales Specialist is a hybrid position that will perform creative marketing and inside sales support tasks. This position will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager with the marketing, sales, and promotion of Alltemp’s products and services. The Marketing and Sales Support Specialist will collaborate with the Marketing and Sales team to develop strategic marketing plans and strategies, primarily social media, to drive corporate sales and profit objectives. This role will assist with the development of market research, product planning, advertising functions, and industry events (trade shows) to accomplish organizational objectives. Additionally, the Marketing and Sales Specialist will develop reports on marketing activities using appropriate metrics.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

- Supports the implementation of marketing and advertising campaigns by compiling and analyzing sales trends and business priorities, including creating marketing materials, developing advertising materials, plans, and objectives, organizing promotional presentations, and updating presentations, materials, creative assets, and copy decks.
- Maintains promotional materials to ensure availability by coordinating requirements with internal and external vendors.
- Supports community management across various social media platforms to engage audiences and integrate the parent brand as well as product brands into relevant online and offline conversations.
- Collaborates with the marketing team to create branding ideas, advertising text, graphic designs, and promotional materials. Enforces brand marketing guidelines throughout each product line to create a cohesive feel to each campaign.
- Supports assigned Regional Sales Managers and communicates with 3rd party manufacturer representatives.
- Assists with updating the website, managing SDS and DIM data for various Alltemp brands.
- Sources and orders promotional items, while also distributing literature catalogues and promotional items as directed.
- Manages product data for customers and web using Catsy.
- Supplies Sales with pricing information upon request.
- Travels to trade shows and events, occasionally, and supports Sales with other marketing functions when needed. 5
- Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or 3 year College Diploma in a related field
- 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in marketing or communications and sales support
- Proven professional experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc.)
- Experience utilizing graphic design platforms such as Canva
- Experience managing multiple projects, from the initial requirements gathering phase to product release and implementation
- Strong MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
- Demonstrates proficiency in social media by researching and staying abreast of trends, and developing well-planned posts using Hubspot
- Ability to effectively collaborate with various teams and employee levels across the organization
- Demonstrates a high level of personal and professional integrity, trustworthiness, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently with mínimal direction
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation with the ability to efficiently articulate information and interact with stakeholders

**Preferred**
- Knowledge of HVAC
- Knowledge of Catsy PIM software
- Experience utilizing Bynder or similar DAM for digital asset storage and deployment

INTER-RELATIONSHIPS

Direction is given by national, regional or VP level sales manager. Day-to-day management is provided by the Marketing Manager. Regular interface with all levels of corporate employees, field management, Regional Sales Managers, and 3rd party Manufacturers Reps. Interacts directly with the Executive Management in statistical and operational data development, reporting both for internal management as well as external customers and other key channel players. Provides primary support for two or more outside sales managers. May interface with external customers and vendors as a regular part of daily job duties.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Smoke-free, professional office environment. Workstation may be in a high traffic area within a busy department. Standard workweek is 37.5 hours, with ability to work overtime when needed. May attend industry events several times per year.
