Our mission is to "Help children grow mindfully through movement, connection and self love so they can learn to be kind to themselves and others" through our curriculum. Our Young Yogis Summer Camp helps campers find inner peace and self love by making summer mindful. Young Yogis shift their focus from perfection to progress and move, explore and grow through mindful games, kids yoga, crafting, music fun, theme days and more for children ages 6-12 years old.

As a mobile service, we are looking for Camp Counsellors who have access to reliable transportation and the ability to commute to various Community Centres/ locations indoors and outdoors across Vaughan/Caledon.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a leadership role
- Experience working in a team setting
- Summer camp experience
- Experience working with children
- Must be flexible with hours and willing to commute to different locations for camp
- Standard First Aid
- CRP-C (Valid for 2 years)
- Vulnerable Sector Screening
- High 5 Certified
- AODA Certification

Job Behaviours:

- Plan and execute daily summer camp routine
- Manage sign in and sign out procedures daily
- Mentor and manage camp staff
- Communicate with parents daily
- Have proficient computer skills in managaing paperwork
- Maintain a warm and welcoming environment for staff and children
- Professionalism in interaction with children, parents, camp staff, Camp Coordinator etc
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to staff arrival to set up and engaging/ age appropriate programs
- Able to create and ensure lesson plans are being followed
- Attend virtual trainings and in person trainings.
