**What is the Opportunity?**
As Manager, Canadian Payroll Processing Operations, you will manage the organization's Canadian payroll processing across all businesses/platforms, legal entities and provinces/territories. As Manager you will lead a team responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll services for Canada.
**What will you do?**
- Deliver accurate and timely payroll services, including transaction processing, payments, adjustments, audits and compliance.
- Drive efficiency of payroll processes aligned to global processes, technology, governance for RBC employees in Canada
- Lead a high performing team which executes the highest standards of payroll delivery, while flexible to adapt to changing needs, volumes, increased functionalization
- Investigate and respond to escalations/inquiries from key partners; act as an escalation point for complex risks / issues, providing advice and guidance
- Maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and partners across the organization
- Manage controls and compliance requirements and system testing support
- Promote innovative methods to get the work done and implements best practices; promotes a mind set for sustained success and growth

**Must-have**:
- Functional expertise in Canadian payroll processes, policies, and programs, with strong critical and analytical thinking skills.
- Strong leadership and planning skills; proven ability to manage team while balancing initiative delivery
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
- Proven experience in managing good relationships with stakeholders
- Demonstrates leadership in promoting excellent employee experiences
