**_Kativik Ilisarniliriniq is a school board offering educational services in the 14 communities of Nunavik.
- **

**FUNCTION & DUTIES**:
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Post-Secondary Student Services, the Project Development Officer is responsible
- for the development, implementation, coordination and evaluation of the onboarding program for Nunavik beneficiaries
- pursuing post-secondary education.
- **GENERALLY, THIS POSITION INVOLVES THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES**: Support students and their families by providing them with a place to stay;
- Organize information sessions on how housing functions based on current policy
- Collaborate with social workers, academic counsellors, education consultants, and others (internal and external
- partners) stakeholders to ease the transition of KI students particularly in the area of housing
- Analyze and evaluate the needs of our students and identify available resources to address housing and transition
- needs
- Provide reports and recommendations regarding the onboarding of KI post-secondary students terms for the
- priorities of housing and community placement
- Work in collaboration with the Material Resources Department to manage leases
- Coordinate all logístical aspects related to housing by working with the various partners
- Any other related tasks at the discretion of the Director.

**QUALIFICATIONS**: Undergraduate degree in a-related field of specialization, such as Indigenous Studies, Human Relations or Project- Management.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Fluent in two of the three official languages of the board (Inuktitut, English, French);
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Collaborative nature and the ability to work in a team environment
- Strong administrative and coordination skills
- Knowledge of the MS Office suite
- Knowledge of Nunavik
- Knowledge of the external and internal services available to our students
- A valid driver’s license.

**CLASSIFICATION / SALARY / BENEFITS**:
In accordance with the SPPENOM collective agreement for professionals. This position belongs to job category 2143:
from $46,114$ to $82,585 annually depending on qualification and experience.All benefits are prorated based on the
