**We are looking for RECE's or ECA's who are passionate, energetic, outside the box thinkers who are also nurturing, caring, supportive, empathetic, and welcoming to fill a 3-4 month Infant room contract position until the end of April 2023.**

**You Can**: Plan, develop and implement programs that reflect children's interest and respond to diverse individual and cultural needs.

**You have**: the ability to plan and implement exciting, challenging and diverse activities while also adhering to the physical distancing policies and procedures re: COVID-19

**You Must Be Able to**: Observe and assess children's progress and behaviour to ensure the programs meet the individual needs of each child and group needs

**You Must**: Demonstrate empathy, sensitivity, and support to the family unit

**You Must**: Support, comfort and encourage children who are experiencing difficulties and help them to understand and handle their feelings

**You Can**: Guide and assist children in the development of independent eating, dressing and toileting habits

**You will**: Participate in regular in person / virtual staff meetings, in person / virtual training, and related activities both internal and External including the performance appraisal

**You Are**: a respectful communicator with children, parents, colleagues, teachers, managers, students, and volunteers

**You Have**: Sound knowledge of Emergent curriculum (ELECT), AQI expectations, HDLH and the ability to plan and implement a daily program.

**Qualifications**:
E.C.E. diploma or equivalency recognized by the CCEYA, registered with the College of ECE’s.
