Job Summary:
The Linen Technician at Classic Party Rentals Inc is accountable for all facets of managing the linens/laundry for a party rental business. This includes cleaning, counting, steaming/pressing, organizing, and coordinating orders. The linens to be managed include chair covers, tablecloths, napkins, and table runners. The Linen Technician ensures that linens are cleaned to the company's standards, ready for orders, and orders are accurate.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accountable for all facets of managing linens/laundry, including cleaning, counting, steaming/pressing, organizing, and coordinating orders.
- Ensure that linens are ready for orders, and orders are accurate and complete.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, following proper cleaning techniques and safe use of equipment.
- Prioritize cleaning tasks effectively and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Lift and move heavy linen bags (40-50 lbs) when necessary.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines for a clean and organized work environment.
- Work under tight deadlines, staying organized and proactive.
- Communicate effectively and follow standards and directions.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a cleaning role, with experience in a commercial laundry role being ideal.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to read and write effectively.
- Comfortable handling soiled linens, some of which may be heavily soiled.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions:
The Linen Technician must be able to lift heavy linen bags weighing 40-50 lbs, prioritize tasks effectively, and work diligently to meet deadlines. Proactivity and organization are essential for success in this role.

Performance Metrics:
1. Order Accuracy: Ensure that linens are accurately counted, cleaned, and prepared for orders, with a focus on minimizing errors.

2. Cleanliness Standards: Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness and laundry quality.

3. Efficiency: Complete laundry tasks efficiently, meeting or exceeding established deadlines.

4. Communication: Demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to follow directions.

5. Safety: Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines in a proactive manner.

6. Independence: Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
