**What will you do**

The **Senior Shopper Insights & Activation Manager** will be an authority on how to connect with the drug channel shopper, with special attention on the Quebec Market. In partnership with Team Lead/s and Account Manager/s, this role will uncover and leverage consumer, category & customer insights as a competitive advantage to elevate strategic conversations and drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Develops deep understanding of marketplace (focus on Quebec Region), consumer path to purchase, competitive landscape and retailer priorities to inform 3-year operating plan/strategy
- Cross-commercial lead on behalf of Drug Team, for priority category/shopper initiatives; ensuring strong communication & alignment between Account Managers, Brand & external Customers
- Uncovers category insights and customer/regional opportunities, working across partners end-to-end to bring to life
- Leverage multiple sources of data to connect-the-dots; shaping insights into specific action through compelling story telling
- Advanced utilization of Tools and Insights: Nielsen and customer POS, Loyalty Card data, Panel data, Shopper insights, Assortment tools
- Customer-facing; leads external relationships with the Marketing departments at select Retailer Partners
- Brings expertise & insight externally, in agreement with the Team Lead/Account Manager.

Qualifications

**What we are looking for**

Required Qualifications
- A University degree is required, preferably in Business, Sales, Marketing or another related field
- Minimum 5 years of CPG experience required; 2+ in Category Management or Shopper Insights
- Ability to develop and demonstrate creativity/new ideas that challenge the status quo
- Proven ability to translate data from multiple sources to insights, with purposeful story telling
- Experience adapting brand strategies into channel/customer strategies in a simple and practical way.
- Experience uncovering opportunities using Category Management principles
- Collaboration & communication across multiple functions
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Effective presentation, and influencing skills
- Results driven; ability to maintain focus and make decisions in ambiguous circumstances
- Demonstrated ability to develop an internal and external network; effective at partnership management & strategic influencing.
- Proficient in project management and financial analysis, including P&L management
- Ability to travel up 10%

Desired Qualifications
- Given the focus on the Quebec region, bilingual (English & French) is strongly preferred
- Advanced Analytical capabilities, including proficiency in Excel
- Expertise in ACNielsen databases and category management fundamentals
- Working knowledge of Tableau & loyalty card data is strongly preferred
- Foundational knowledge of consumer research methodologies and digital levers as part of the marketing mix
