**Overview**
We are seeking dedicated Support Workers to provide compassionate care and assistance to individuals in need. If you have a passion for helping others and making a positive impact on people's lives, this role is for you.

**Duties**:

- Provide support in a nursing home or home care setting
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare meals and ensure dietary requirements are met
- Administer medications following prescribed guidelines
- Offer companionship and emotional support to individuals
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs
- Provide specialized care for seniors, including dementia care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of individuals

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in caregiving, assisted living, or similar roles is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus
- Familiarity with dementia care practices is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment for individuals

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $16.55-$23.00 per hour

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- supportive care: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- PSW certification (required)
