St. Elizabeth Family Support Services is seeking a dedicated Recreation Specialist to join our team. As a Recreation Specialist for Art &Crafts, you will be instrumental in organizing and implementing recreational programs that promote social well-being and community engagement.

**Duties**:

- Develop and execute engaging recreational programs for individuals and families facing personal or social challenges
- Educate participants on the benefits of recreational activities for seniors overall well-being
- Market and promote recreational programs to attract participants from the community
- Utilize project management skills to plan, implement, and evaluate recreational initiatives
- Provide leadership in coordinating activities and events to enhance community involvement
- Collect data to measure the impact and effectiveness of recreational programs
- Perform administrative tasks related to program coordination, budgeting, and reporting
- Engage in public speaking engagements to advocate for the importance of recreation in overcoming hardships
- Assist in recruiting volunteers and staff to support recreational programs
- Supervise participants during recreational activities to ensure a safe and inclusive environment

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Social Work, or related field (preferred)
- Previous experience in organizing recreational programs or community events
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis techniques
- Excellent administrative abilities with attention to detail
- Effective public speaking skills to communicate program objectives and outcomes
- Experience in recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers or staff members

Pay: $30.54-$37.43 per hour
