Administrative Assistant/Events Coordinator

Position Overview

The Administrative Assistant/Events Coordinator is charged with providing administrative support to the Chief Advancement & Enrolment Officer. In addition to administrative duties, this role will plan and execute a series of events and initiatives that support our Advancement and Admissions Departments in an effort to strategically engage GNS and the broader community. Demonstrating initiative, a keen eye for detail and a desire to provide exemplary service to all stakeholders, this position develops strong professional relationships to effectively represent GNS. What You’ll Bring

You will have a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public relations and/or communications however, an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. At least two years of experience working in a high volume administrative environment and a background executing events is desired. Excellent communication skills will be key to engage and make strong connections with a diverse group of people. Experience working in an independent school environment or fundraising environment would be considered an asset.
