Sre Specialist

Fortinet has an exciting opportunity for an experienced SRE Specialist to join our FortiCloud operation team. We are managing the consumer-facing services with high traffic volumes around the world. Service Reliability and Security is our top priority. Provide on call support as required

**Job Requirements**
- Administration experience in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu) as a server platform. Required experience with Linux operation system itself as well as with production level software and hardware
- Network Administration (Switch/Router/Firewall)
- Administration experience in virtualized environments
- Identify, document and track software defects found during testing
- Develop, maintain and execute tools and scripts to provide automation and self-service solutions in physical and virtual environments
- Knowledge of industry standard protocols (TCP/IP, Apache, DNS, LDAP, etc.)
- Knowledge of deployment automation Knowledge of at least one scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell, Perl etc.)
- Knowledge of monitoring, deploying, configuring and maintaining the PostgreSQL database, Elastic Search and Redis
- Knowledge of containerization including Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of web servers including Nginx and HAProxy;
- Highly organized, able to multi-task, the ability to work individually, within a team and with other groups
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written across all user levels
- Troubleshooting and resolution of Server, Kubernetes and Network issues

**Educational Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

**Bonus Experience**
- Certification in RHCE
- Certification in Openstack
- Certification in VMware
- Certification in CCIE
- experience related to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) like Terraform Terragrunt;
- experience related to AWS;experience related to CI/CD Jenkins;
