What you’ll do & Who you are

We are seeking a highly motivated, and data-driven SEO Content Manager to join our Marketing team. In this role, your key objective is to drive organic growth and SEO authority through the management of high-value content for our audiences. If you’re an entrepreneurial marketer who loves digging into data to inform and optimise your initiatives then we want to hear from you

What you’ll do:
- Lead the creation and maintenance of thought leadership content strategy for both Kijiji and Kijiji Autos, leveraging a mix of formats including long-form articles, guides, how-tos, case studies, videos, etc.- Use SEO and analytics tools to conduct keyword research, competitive analysis and other research methods to understand user intent to inform content strategies.- Work closely with our SEO agency and Head of Brand & Communications to manage our backlink strategy- Work with the Sr. Product Manager, SEO to identify and implement best on-page SEO practices throughout Kijiji and Kijiji Autos properties.- Manage agency relationships for SEO content development, production, and reporting; optimise our operating budget for highest quality content- Partner with Brand to find opportunities to further content distribution through trends, social listening, monitoring, & campaigns- Explore, assess and recommend innovative and alternative channels and content formats, such as TikTok, YouTube, podcasts & interactive content

Who you are:
- At least 5 years of SEO experience with a proven track record of driving organic traffic and conversions within e-commerce, retail or DTC- A deep understanding of all areas of SEO, with a strong emphasis in Content Marketing- Strong editorial skills and an eye for creating high-quality, engaging content that drives conversions- Experience working with & coaching writers to deliver content that meets or exceeds expectations.- Demonstrated ability to create, justify, communicate, and implement SEO content strategies across teams and stakeholders.- Experience with analytics and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Analytics.- Deep understanding of content for website, including industry-leading CMS tools and accessibility best practices- A general understanding of growth marketing areas outside of SEO, such as paid media, copywriting, A/B testing, product, and brand marketing.
