**CONSTRUCTION TRAILER DRIVER / LABOURER**

Fifty years in business, exterior renovation company, **Avenue Road Roofing** is looking to hire construction drivers for Spring 2024

Schedule: Monday to Friday. Start time 7:00 AM working from the shop (Dufferin/ Eglinton). Overtime paid after 44 hours. All work is in the GTA.

**Responsibilities**
- Driving company pickup truck to and from job sites in the GTA
- Long work days in the roofing season
- Heavy labour work involved with loading / unloading / job clean up

**Qualifications**
- Applicants must have experience with pick up truck driving
- Pulling a 10 by 6 construction box trailer. Must be experienced with navigating city streets with the trailer. Also experience with backing up trailer into tight spots.
- Drivers must have a valid G license with a good driver's abstract
- Must have good general knowledge of the city
- Must provide Criminal Background check
- Capable of heavy lifting with the loading of trailers and closing up jobs
- Physically fit to easily carry 50 pounds plus
- Must have a work resume and be able to provide job related references
