Small grounds maintenance company servicing Burlington/Waterdown/Dundas now hiring for the winter season.

Looking for reliable, hard-working applicants who have a positive attitude to join a growing company.

Winter duties include - snow removal and salting of driveways and sidewalks using shovels and snow blowers. This is an on-call position. Must be available for work 24/7, including overnight, weekends and holidays for the duration of the winter and occasionally on short notice. Must be prepared to work extended hours in variable weather conditions.

On top of your hourly wage we offer bi-weekly stand-by pay, if all required shifts are met. If you complete the probationary period with no issues/ missed shifts you will become a salaried employee with a guaranteed 40 hours per week regardless of hours worked.

Some heavy lifting is required.

Must have reliable transportation, a working cell phone, and proper winter clothing/boots.

Experience with on-call snow removal is a asset but not required.

A valid G license with a clean drivers abstract is preferred.

Can lead to full-time work in the spring.

**Salary**: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
