**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Manage the day-to-day upkeep of bank and credit card accounts, including reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries and record bills from vendors
- Conduct follow-ups on outstanding accounts receivable
- Ensure accurate classification of transactions in QuickBooks, with oversight from the Controller
- Review timesheets and oversee payroll processing through QuickBooks Online, addressing any payroll-related tasks as they arise
- Administer employee benefits and oversee WSIB and EHT filings
- Collaborate with the Controller to manage cash flow, facilitate payments, and record receipts
- Prepare and file HST returns
- Oversee the purchase and sale of Property, Plant, and Equipment, maintain the Capital Asset listing, and record depreciation
- Manage and track vehicle loans/leases, including recording payments and preparing journal entries related to loan interest
- Prepare various ad hoc reports and complete other tasks as required

**Experience**
- Minimum 2 years of previous bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in the electrical services or construction industry
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online with at least 1 year of hands-on experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- A team player with excellent problem-solving skills and professionalism
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- A quick learner who knows when to seek support and guidance when needed

**Requirements**:

- QuickBooks: 1 year (required)
- Bookkeeping or Accounting: 2 years (required)
