Are you ready to kickstart your career in video production? Whether you’re into cinematography, directing, editing, or the business side of video, this is your chance to get hands-on experience in a creative, fast-paced industry.

We’re an Ottawa-based video production company that is growing and seeking new teammates to grow with us. We work primarily on web-based promotional videos, documentaries, commercials and livestreams. Our team is ambitious, supportive, and committed to finding and developing Ottawa’s next generation of video talent. - Cinematography: Framing, lighting, and capturing cinematic moments that tell visual stories.
- Directing: Taking control and bringing ideas to life on the screen.
- Video Editing: Transforming raw footage into compelling videos.
- Animation: Building motion graphics and animations to enhance video projects.
- The Business of Video Production: Landing clients, managing projects, coordinating shoots, and growing a video production company.

What You Bring:

- Experience with video production, editing, or media design
- Adobe Premiere CC experience (other Adobe apps are a plus)
- Familiarity with macOS (Apple ecosystem)
- Bonus skills & competencies: French fluency, graphic design, AI video tool proficiency, photography

What You’ll Do:

- Assist on-set in professional production environments
- Organize shoots and support pre-production tasks
- Shoot video in indoor and outdoor environments
- Edit videos and manage media workflows
- Create graphics and animations
- Collaborate on original content creation for various audiences

Details:

- Hours: 16-24+ hours per week
- Pay: $17.20/hour
- Location: South Ottawa office (5-minute walk from office to transit; free parking available) + various on-set locations

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
