**Job Overview**
We are seeking a skilled paint support associate to join our team. You'll be refinishing cabinets so experience in preparing surfaces for painting i.e sanding, reparing, installing/removal, etc is a must. Experience in working with airless/hvlp systems is a plus for future growth in the company but not required at this point.
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks as needed.
- Conduct touch-ups and repairs on painted surfaces as required.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on projects involving masonry, drywall installation, and tile laying.
- Perform heavy lifting and assist with the installation of various materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project duration.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
**Qualifications**
- Experience in cabinet work/carpentry.
- Knowledge of relative trade skills is preferred.
- Must know how to work with a drill to install/remove cabinets.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with painting projects.
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics and quality finishes.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Metro Vancouver Regional District, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
