**ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT**

Reporting to the accounting supervisor, the Accounting Assistant will be responsible to support the US & Canada shared service finance team in different accounting functions such as costing, financial reporting, government & tax filing and other related tasks.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Cost accounting & Quotation support;
- Prepare different accounting & financial report;
- Assist on tax return, tax filing & government filings;
- Participate in the month end process;
- Accomplishing different ad-hoc accounting tasks;
- Assist in launching new ERP system.

**QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS**:

- College degree in accounting or finance;
- Excellent computer skills (including Excel functions);
- Quick learner, organised & focus on details;
- Team playing with ability to work independently;
- Relevant working experience an asset;
- ERP System knowledge an asset.

Temporary position (1 year contract) with the posibility of becoming permanent.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: From $45,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
