**Location**:Acton
**Term**: Full Time
**Start Date**: January 2025
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop strategies and work with necessary stakeholders to open additional soil importation sites.
- Collaborate with the Commercial team to ensure attraction and retention of new customers
- Collaborate with Operations team to ensure we maximize the capacity for soil importation across the soil importation sites in accordance with the site and rehabilitation plans.
- Collect market intelligence on competitor activities related to excess soils in Ontario.
- Analyze the environmental documentation submitted by customers to determine suitability for importation.
- Ensure environmental quality control guidelines are followed upstream (at the customers job site) and downstream (at the receiving site).
- Track and comment as required, any new legislation on soil regulations in Ontario.
- Supervise employees within the Soils Management line of business.
- Other duties may be assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Engineer or Certified Engineering Technologist/Technician in the following field: Civil or Environmental is an asset.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the aggregates and/or construction industry
- Experience in geotechnics, customer service and/or environmental service
- Entrepreneurial spirit.
- Working with cross functional teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Autonomy and organization skills
