** **growing and hiring a Quality Assurance Technician to work with the production team in maintaining the company’s existing ISO9001:2015 Quality System.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Non-conformance system, maintain NC log, prepare reports, investigate, co-ordinate and/or complete corrective actions, preventative measures, and close.
- Customer Complaint system, maintain CCR log, prepare complaint reports and close.
- Return Materials Authorization system, maintain RMA register, assign RMA numbers from the Sales team, close.
- Ensure that the QMS confirms ISO9001: 2015, internal and external audits.
- Ensure the integrity of the QMS and that processes are delivering intended outcomes.
- Solve the QA issues on the shop floor.
- Inspect incoming products and work with vendors regarding QA issues.
- Perform and/or co-ordinate metallurgical testing and prepare evaluations as required.
- Report to Management on the performance of the QMS, opportunities for improvement or innovations.
- Input product specifications and process instructions in the ERP, job traveler and system.
- Help with other administrative tasks as required.

**Skills and Requirements**:

- 2+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience reading technical drawings.
- Previous experience in a technical role such as engineering, welder, machinist, etc. would be an asset.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
