**GROUNDSKEEPER**
**Gulf Operators, Ltd. is a civil contractor experienced in all aspects of civil work including drilling and blasting, concrete work, excavation, water and sewer, as well as aggregate production and sales.**
At Gulf Operators Limited, you will discover a fast-paced work environment and gain exposure to a wide range of industrial, commercial, infrastructure and residential projects.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including commercial mowers, blowers and grass trimmers to complete job tasks
- Communicate with team members and clients in a friendly and professional manner
- These duties can require early morning or late night starts, extended hours, and weekend duty including holidays
- Basic plant knowledge including ability to identify different types of plants
- Winter work on snow removal crew is also available
- Work with attention to detail and professionalism
**Required Competencies**:
- 1+ years’ experience in landscaping
- Experience in a resort setting considered an asset
- Valid Driver’s License is required
- Ability to drive a truck and trailer is considered an asset
- Hardworking, self-starter and team player with a strong work ethic
- Must be task oriented and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Enjoy working outdoors in diverse weather conditions
- Must be able to demonstrate a willingness to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Willing and available to work flexible shifts
- Ability to do landscaping in Summer and snow removal in Winter is considered an asset
