Reporting to the Construction Manager, a Site Superintendent is responsible for supervising the construction process to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and without deficiencies.

**Site Superintendent**

As a member of the Construction Department, the Site Superintendent performs some or all of the following duties related to core areas: Site Servicing, Construction, and Seasonal. The Site Superintendent is accountable for the scheduling and quality assurance of projects from pre-construction to completion as assigned to them by the Construction Manager.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

The Site Superintendent performs some or all of the following duties related to core areas of Site Servicing, Construction, and Seasonal:

- Manage the construction process according to contractual requirements.
- Organize, lead, and guide the activities to complete on-site construction work.
- Schedule all work and trades required for the job schedule.
- Host homeowner walkthroughs and key turnovers.
- Verify construction files are complete by participating in file reviews, collaborative team meetings, and other meetings or reviews as needed.
- Update the Construction Work In Progress schedule daily.
- Ensure all construction inspections are completed and all issues are rectified promptly.
- Inspect work done by all trades, to ensure completion and highest quality.
- Conduct monthly Showhome/sales center reviews and perform minor repairs as required.
- Assist in warranty calls during high warranty volumes.
- Update and document all defective items on BuildPro. (only area referencing a specific system)
- Report and address any warranty-related concerns that may affect how the homes are being constructed.
- Respond to any homeowner questions or concerns promptly.
- Respond to emergency and urgent calls as required; inspect, diagnose, and take the appropriate actions to resolve the issue(s).
- Report to the Construction Manager any unresolved client issues.
- Assist in the post-construction process to ensure all aspects of the site are completed

**Other Job Duties**
- Ensure company vehicle is properly maintained, kept clean and operated safely and courteously at all times in compliance with the current company vehicle use policy.
- Actively participate in continuous Health & Safety, and regular safety audits and meetings as required for Safety COR.
- Meet with Area Sales Representatives to collaborate as a team.
- Attend and participate in meetings like weekly construction meeting.
- Meet and exceed company expectations and goals.
- Other duties as assigned to you by your manager.

**Education & Experience**
- 2-5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent.
- Strong knowledge of Alberta Building Codes is required.
- Completion of Professional Site Superintendent Accreditation through the Professional Home Builder’s Institute or equivalent is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of Office Suite.
- Experience with BuildPro is preferred.
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license is required.
- Consent and ability to pass a background check may be required.

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
