Cambridge Elevating, the premium residential elevator manufacturer is looking to hire a full time employee. The salary range is $50k - $73.5k to start depending on experience with Driveworks, Solidworks, Draftsight (similar to AutoCAD) and Excel. As part of the compensation package for full time permanent employees, we offer benefits (after 3 months) and an RRSP contribution matching plan (after 1 year). Also, there are 2 weeks of vacation that accrue over time served.

Our operations are located at 181 Shearson Cres just behind the ice park on Franklin, in Cambridge. This is in close proximity to the iXpress, 53, 75, & 60 bus routes. At our shop we have additional employee benefits that include a fitness facility on site with showers, and a full kitchen.

**Primary role**:To develop scalable models to help automate our regular and custom job processing. Also to understand, and improve upon our decision making formulas, rules, and tables. Ultimately these assets will be loaded onto a Driveworks platform to allow our customers to serve themselves for drawing and specification requests.

**Responsibilities and Expected Results**
- Understand our product offerings and 2D drawing matrixes
- Develop top-down scalable 3D models for our 'custom' offerings
- Develop top-down scalable models for our standard offerings
- Understand our formulas & rules that define our product decisions
- Create design tables utilizing our product formulas & rules
- Migrate all of the above onto the Driveworks platform
- Design & maintain production, purchase, and scheduling orders

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Intermediate - advanced Solidworks skills
- Familiar with Draftsight / AutoCAD or similar
- Exposure to Driveworks
- Excellent team skills
- Strong math & analytical skills
- Self-starter
- Internally motivated
- Thirst for knowledge, improvement & advancement
