**An exciting opportunity awaits**:
We currently have an opportunity for an **Estate Administrator** to join our Wealth Management team in **Steinbach.** As an Estate Administrator you will support front line sales teams with delivering exceptional member service by providing administrative support and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, policies, and procedures. You will provide ongoing support with a high level of accuracy and consistency.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Process account and member contact information updates in the banking system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all times
- Maintain thorough knowledge of and adhere to credit union policies/procedures and all other legislative requirements in the areas of deposits
- Address audit inquiries and/or irregularities and follow-up with internal members in a timely manner
- Adjust service fees, interest charges, and transactional errors, performing calculations when needed
- Ensure appropriate documentation is forwarded to other internal departments as needed
- Support front-line staff in the delivery of products and services by composing and then processing correspondence, preparing documentation, and administering amendments to member accounts
- Generate and distribute member communication related to account changes, new account openings, and tax-related documentation
- Respond to staff inquiries related to Estates and resolve questions and concerns wherever possible, referring more complex issues to leadership
- Liase with staff, other financial institutions, law offices and/or third parties for information sharing and/or information exchange
- Actively participate in staff meetings
- Maintain open communication and cooperation with other staff to ensure a friendly and efficient work environment
- Support and/or train other colleagues to develop and maintain a strong team dynamic
- Foster business development through service excellence and teamwork
- Maintain up to date knowledge of SCU’s products and services

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 Diploma, plus up to one to 3 years of job-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Business acumen
- Working knowledge of SCU policies and procedures, as well as regulatory environments
- Software proficiency
