**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **Surface Preparation**: Prepare wood surfaces for finishing by sanding, filling cracks and imperfections, and ensuring the surface is clean and free from debris.
- **Color Matching**: Mix and match stains or paints to achieve desired colors and shades, matching existing finishes or customer specifications.
- **Coating Techniques**: Utilize appropriate techniques for different finishes, such as spraying, brushing, or wiping, to achieve the desired texture and appearance.
- **Quality Control**: Inspect finished surfaces for uniformity, smoothness, and adherence to quality standards. Make necessary adjustments or repairs as required.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot finishing equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Report any equipment issues or malfunctions to supervisors.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries during the finishing process. Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials following established procedures.
- **Collaboration**: Coordinate and communicate with other team members, such as designers, or supervisors, to ensure proper understanding of finishing requirements and specifications
- Other duties as assigned.

**YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Proven experience as a Finisher or similar role.
- Knowledge of different wood types and their specific finishing requirements.
- Familiarity with various finishing products, such as stains, paints, varnishes, and sealants.
- Ability to mix and match colors to achieve desired shades.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Understanding of safety procedures and protocols for working with finishing materials.
- Physical dexterity and stamina for standing, bending, and lifting during the finishing process.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

**EDUCATION**: High School diploma or equivalent
