**About Our Opportunity**:
Do you want to make a huge impact and help deliver exciting geomatics solutions to partners? If you do, we are looking for someone like you to join our team. We are looking strengthen our team with the addition of a Geomatics Project Administrator.

**Primary Accountabilities**:
We are looking for a geomatics professional who enjoys organizing and coordinating project work in a fast-paced environment.
- Administer a portfolio of geomatics projects.
- Manages and delivers required outcomes for multiple projects. Provides direction and/or development of projects and projects plans including project scope development, business requirements analysis, advising on procurement, methodology selection, project management strategies, and resource and capacity management of direct and indirect project resources.
- Help teams manage outcomes, prioritize work and work to agreed project scope.
- Manages several projects concurrently involving multi-disciplinary teams of various sizes.
- Motivate and manage diverse teams of both internal and external business and technical specialists.
- Team building with the ability to interact effectively and develop strong relationships with staff at all levels.
- Administer project schedules, solve complex problems, and nurtures cross group collaboration.
- Lead projects and initiatives, including the planning and organization of a broad range of complex activities involving some uncertainty, and requiring the formulation and adjustment of strategies or approaches.
- Oversee project resources, identify required technologies, personnel, and conduct project risk analysis.
- Problem solving, analytical thinking and decision making, and managing complex and competing needs.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
The following would be considered an asset:

- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
- Master’s Certificate in Project Management.

**Working Conditions**:

- Normal work week is 35 hours/week, 7 hours/day.
- May be required to work overtime on occasion.
- Majority of time spent in an office environment.
- Travel within communities across Nova Scotia will may occasionally be required.
