Any experience in the operating room or one who is a recent graduate of a peri-operative course is beneficial to the position but not mandatory.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Monitors delivery of care by completing patient follow ups, documenting care, and maintaining communication for surgical dates, providing patients with understanding of their procedure / after care.
- Functioning as the primary liaison between patients, staff and physician.
- Responsible to follow up with patients prior to procedures - patients blood work requisition, medical test, etc. to be submitted and reviewed prior to surgical dates. Including, but not limited to obtaining pre
- surgery, documentation for Covid-19 testing and discharge plan for after surgical procedure care. Alerting team & surgeon of any issues in advance. Acting as the ultimate contact with clients & patients
- Maintain the highest level of patient care and communication with patients, nurses and doctors.
- Maintains / reviews patient records, charts and other pertinent information. Including, the creation of new patient charts - ensuring all necessary forms are included and completed with within the file in proper order - as per the physician liking.
- Responds to/refers patient treatment -related phone calls.
- Greets patients and prepares them for physician examination. Screen patients for appropriate information.
- Screening clients / patients prior to booking appointments for Body Mass Index, health record, other previous pertinent surgical procedures & medical history.
- Maintains exam rooms for necessary supplies and materials. Ensures cleanliness. Prepares list of medical supplies needed. Prepare patient charts and equipment. Aid physician during treatment, examination upon request.
- An understanding of the scheduling for booking patients, consults versus follow up’s, post -ops and injectables - understands patient flow and adjust accordingly for optimum performance and sales - strategize O.R schedules and surgeries for efficient uses of the O.R time & dates.
- An understanding of how to run a successful business - the utmost understanding of the importance of execution and maintenance of excellent customer care from phone call to post surgery care - processing payments, setting and reaching and surpassing financial sales goals.
- Capable of doing credit card billings, reports and request for approvals, payments and contract agreements, doctors, suppliers etc...
- Consistent awareness and maintenance of company website and rating site reviews - consistently and significantly increasing sales and year over year revenue.
- Manage and secure patients photos / files. Able to produce and provide before and after pictures for surgeon, and or patients. Ensuring photos are within patient’s files.
- Expectations, high attention to detail and follow through on all job responsibilities.
- Able to multi task to completion and accuracy, with grace.
- Strong Computer skills working knowledge of EMR and Practice Software - **Nextech ,Quickbooks and MS Words**
- Capable of creating weekly / monthly / seasonal sales report summaries to present to the Director of Operations.
- Comply with hospital / O.R and legal requirements by fostering care / nursing practices that
