**OVERVIEW**

The Cashier works to achieve store sales goals by setting the standard of the Alo experiences & Brand Mission. Creating an authentic, organic experience of excellence for every guest through genuine connection, product education, loyalty, and educating customers about our community and culture at point-of-sale. You will provide prompt service, quality engagement, and maintain a clean and inviting environment. The Cashier thrives working on a team and relishes a culture of feedback and excellence.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Genuinely greet all guests with a friendly smile and personalized offer to help with their shopping needs
- Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on guest needs
- Consistently invite the Guest to join our Loyalty program and explain the benefits of joining
- Maintain current knowledge of Alo Yoga, Marketing programs, goals, and brand initiatives
- Proactively seek opportunities to up sell and add-on merchandise, further enhancing the guest's shopping experience
- Anticipate and overcome guest objections to purchasing merchandise
- Build lasting relationships with guests by contacting them to follow up on purchases, suggest new merchandise and remind them of upcoming community events.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for team members and guests
- Meet and exceed sales and service performance goals set by the Sales & Service Manager; including but not limited to: Individual sales, units per transaction, dollars per transaction
- Knowledge of store goals, company communication, initiatives, new product launches and any additional information required by the Store Leadership Team; educate on guest-facing initiatives on the floor
- Confidently introduces all facets of the Alo business model (Retail, Yoga, Café) through personal testimony and knowledge of all aspects and details
- Resolve client needs quickly & effectively ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain proper banking and media accountabilities at POS while following all "Banking" and "Cash Wrap" Policies and procedures
- Participate in executing visual merchandising philosophies, cleaning and upkeep of physical store at direction of leadership team. Assisting guests should always come first

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Preferred 1+ years prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment
- Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences
- High energy, upbeat and enthusiastic with the ability to integrate fun and work
- Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually, and as a team
- Fosters genuine connection through empathy, compassion, integrity and building trusting relationships
- Seniority Level: Entry level

The Company's Cashier base pay ranges from $12.00 - $13.00/ hour in Edmonton, AB. Please also note, Cashiers are eligible to participate in the Company's Monthly Store Incentive bonus program, which may result in bringing the total compensation to a higher range. Further, the range listed is just one component of the Company's total rewards package for retail employees. Other rewards may include: clothing allowance, employee discount, 401K, competitive medical, dental, and vision plans, commuter benefits, Talkspace, and AloMoves.
