Summary
The Laurentian Ski hill is looking for some provide our guests with a high level of customer service. The Lift Attendant is responsible for ensuring customers safely load, ride and unload lifts. You are accountable for dealing with customer complaints, inquiries and instruction on lift use. Ensure that guests follow all Laurentian Ski Hill procedures and policies when providing customer service. You will be participating in all assigned training and understand his/her role as brand ambassador to create a positive experience for all guests. This role will also be crossed trained with other Outdoor Operation positions to provide support during peak times and to provide coverage when/if short staffed.

**Job Overview**
- Responsible for the safe operation and on loading and offloading of each lift
- Provide physical assistance to guests when required
- Ensures all guest using the lift have a valid ticket or pass
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining all operational aspects of all lifts including ramps, lift lines, tools and signs
- Maintain a high-quality, friendly and cooperative work ethic and interactive relationship with guests, the lift team and other staff
- Complete daily log and routine checks
- Responsible for duties as assigned by the team leads, supervisors and manager
- Responsible for clearing snow in all needed areas to ensure a safe environment
- Required to help out in other areas as the instructed
- Responsible for maintaining a clean environment around the workplace
- Responsible for maintaining a good flow of traffic
- All other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Physically able to use outdoor tools.
- Able to work well individually and with a team.
- Able to work well under pressure
- Able to work well in a fast paced environment

- Must be able to reason and react with quick and thoughtful judgement while remaining calm under pressure

- Able to get to and from work.

Working Conditions
- Willing to work outside in all weather conditions
- Manual dexterity required
- Lifting or moving 30 + lbs may be required
- Work hours may be weather dependent
