**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Cleaner**

Reports to: Manager of Operations & Business Development

**Essential Duties**:

- Follow regular cleaning and maintenance schedules, including:

- Wipe & sanitize windows, walls, doors, fixtures, and all touchpoints
- Thoroughly wash and sanitize bathroom facilities
- Clean and dust furniture, ledges, light fixtures, and other hard-to-reach places
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles into the appropriate waste bins and ensure that receptacles are kept clean
- Vacuum all carpeted areas and spot clean when necessary
- Special cleaning projects as needed
- Sweep, mop, and polish floors using the appropriate cleaning supplies
- Take inventory of cleaning supplies and materials and order more as needed
- Communicate with each restaurant’s Senior Management Team regarding special requests and inform them of anything that is broken or not functioning correctly
- Comply with work safety practices and health and safety standards

**Key Qualifications**:

- Ability to work independently and complete necessary tasks, even with mínimal supervision
- Ability to manage time & priorities to ensure all work is completed by the end of the shift
- Demonstrated understanding of standard cleaning supplies and equipment
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Possess strong attention to detail
- Must be physically capable of performing 8 hours of physical work each day
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds for short periods of time
- Prior experience in cleaning required
- Work Permit required
