Automotive Service Advisor

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
- Assess customer needs and provide accurate information regarding vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Schedule service appointments and manage the service department's workflow.
- Communicate with technicians to relay customer concerns and ensure proper understanding of required services.
- Provide estimates for repairs and services, including parts and labor costs.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Upsell additional services or products based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proven sales experience, particularly in upselling automotive services or products.
- Cash handling experience is essential for managing transactions effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A background in automotive repair or mechanics is highly desirable, especially within a dealership setting.
