**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Scheduling and dispatching drivers for cross border and local pickup and deliveries.
- Auditing Drivers Paperwork
- Monitor driver routes to ensure timely delivery of freight
- Determine routing problems and resolve issues as soon as possible
- Record mileage, and repairs
- Act as the liaison between company drivers and customers
- Communicate with drivers to ensure smooth delivery of freight in a timely manner
- Ensure that the drivers have all the necessary paperwork in order before dispatching to client sites, including alternate routes or special instructions for delivery

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Must have Truck Dispatch experience
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with drivers and customers
- Ability to multi-task
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to problem solve
- Must have the ability to cope with pressure in an extremely fast paced and dynamic environment
- Extremely organized, forward thinker
- Excellent understanding of the geography in the GTA and Southern Ontario
- Positive attitude & ability to develop lasting relationships with drivers, co-workers & customers
- Must have the ability to work independently
