We produce a wide range of beers and have distribution across the province, AB, SK and MB. Andina is looking to hire a cellar hand/assistant brewer to join our wonderful team

This full-time position will involve assisting in brewing on our 25HL system, cellaring, packaging as well as various tasks around the brewery. We are looking for an outgoing person with previous brewing experience, a strong work ethic, attention to detail and a love of craft beer. Tasks will include, but are not limited to:

- Completing tasks in a timely manner and in accordance with company SOPs
- Inventory checks
- Keeping accurate brewing and packaging records
- Assisting in brewing including milling in, supervising parts of the brewing process, and hitting brewhouse targets
- Cellaring duties such as cleaning tanks, brewhouse cleans, setting up hoses, carbonating beers, checking gravities, etc.
- Packaging kegs and assisting in operating the canning line
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- And, eventually, brewing independently

Qualifications:

- Cellarhand and brewing experience an asset
- Forklift experience an asset
- Ability to lift 25kg bags of grain and
- Ability to handle and lift 60kg kegs
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
