**Part-time contract for 6-month period (to October 31, 2024), with the possibility of extension**

**Events & Community Fundraising Leader**:

- Working with Events & Community team, prepare strategic and operational plans for the events and community portfolio, including annual business plans with budgets and key performance metrics
- Work to grow the Events and Community portfolio to raise $4M in annual revenues (~$2.2M in F25, fiscal year April 2024 - March 2025)
- Lead a flexible team of staff and partners, including third party service providers
- Work with Health Centre colleagues to cultivate the culture of philanthropy through events and activities
- Work with the communications team to build profile in the community and build support for fundraising activities
- Develop event strategies, secure partners and sponsors for signature and community events
- Lead the engagement of Event Committees (e.g. Cycle 4 St. Joe's, Fall Classic, Gala, etc)
- Oversee team that is responsible for planning and execution of cultivation and stewardship events,1 -2 staff members with additional outsourced event support
- Manage annual Events & Community budgets
