**Typical Day in Role**:

- Developing functional and technical documents
- Creating and executing implementation plans
- Working on project end-to-end to define procedure/processes and push changes through delivery
- Working with technical team members within matrix environments and communicating with stakeholders on an executive level

**Must-Have skills**:

- **7+** years of technical experience as a **Solutions Architect**:

- Designing functional technical documents
- Proficiency in one or more scripting and programming language (no specific programming language required)

**Nice-To-Have Skills**:

- Previous exposure to the **banking industry/financial services** is preferred
- Working experience with MS Excel
- **PMP Certification**:

- Possesses one of the industry recognized certifications

**Soft Skills**:

- Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization.
- Strong decision making, forward thinking and creative problem-solving skills to anticipate and respond quickly to technological/market influences.
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with mínimal direction.

**Education/Experience**:

- Post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related IT field required
- **Certified Network** Technician

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $80.00-$90.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Scarborough, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Project Delivery in IT Development Team: 1 year (required)
- IT project management: 3 years (required)
- technical experience as a Solutions Architect: 3 years (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Scarborough, ON

Expected start date: 2023-02-01
