**Job Description**:
As a Concrete Formwork Carpenter at JPD Staffing, you will be responsible for constructing and dismantling concrete formwork for a 3-level building project in North Cowichan. This includes slab on grade forms, parapets on the roof, and blocking around windows.

**Responsibilities**:

- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
- Construct and install formwork for slabs on grade, walls, and columns
- Erect parapets on the roof and install blocking around windows
- Ensure all formwork is built according to project specifications and safety regulations
- Collaborate effectively with other team members and maintain a clean and organized worksite
- Perform other duties as required or assigned by the project manager

**Requirements**:

- Valid Fall Protection ticket
- Previous experience in concrete formwork carpentry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
